Kay was a dog we found wandering on the streets. She was a german shepard and was very talented. We took her in and cared for her. She made friends with our dog Allie, eventually. We found Kay very skinny, but friendly.
She knew the word "ball" we, gave her a one and she carried it where ever she went. She would play fetch no matter how tired, thirsty or hungry she was. It was her best friend.
She chased water and tried catch it if you threw it in the air. She chased flashlights, she jumped six foot fences. She was a mischievous dog but very special.
Eventually we had to give her away because of allergies. It broke our hearts. We cried inside and out. She was our best friend, she gave us something to look forward to everyday, she taught us things we needed to know.
Kay was the inspiration of the ASP and she will always be in our hearts.
